“When you’re a star, they let you do it.”

“I moved on her like a b****, but I couldn’t get there.”

“I did try and f*** her and she was married.”

“Grab them by the p****, you can do anything.”

And finally, “I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Oh yes, Donald Trump. I was offended. And the rest of America should be, too.

Dear Donald Trump,

I’m a sixteen year old girl living in a polarized political world full of scandals, screaming, and pure hate. I watch you scream at women on my TV. I hear about your offensive tweets. And I wonder about the names you would call me. Would you call me a pig? Ugly? A tramp? A dog? A bimbo? Miss piggy? A b****?

What other names do you have up your sleeve? How can it get worse than in 2005 you laughed with Billy Bush about committing sexual assault? Tell me. I want to know if there is any other way in this world you can sink to a lower standard than you already are.

As a young woman, I struggle to put this disgusted feeling into words.  How am I supposed to comprehend that America is possibly electing you, a man who admits to sexual assault? Our President is supposed to uphold values of justice and equality. This is not justice. This is not equality. To really listen to your words about women is to hear a sick man who resorts to name-calling, sexual harassment, and misogyny.

I cannot tolerate your words. I cannot imagine that America would elect a person who treats women in such terrible ways.  According to RAINN.org, there are 288,820 sexual assault victims in America every year alone.

How many are yours, Donald?
